I love a good craft magazine but I have to admit to being less than inspired by most of the Granny mags on the shelf. There have always been the odd few that have some pretty good patterns but nothing to really to shout or blog about.
That changed on Thursday as a new craft magazine called Mollie Makes was released. It took me a few days to get my paws on a copy which is only testament to how good it is. It had sold out everywhere! I finally managed to track it down is Asda of all places.
Mollie Makes is full of patterns you will actually want to make (particularly the peter pan collars), amazing house tours, and beautiful things you will want to buy. It is like a really really good craft blog in magazine form.
This months free gift was a a phone cover which I made last night. Sadly they hadn't supplied quite enough felt for the pattern so I had to change it a little bit. It fits like a dream though and I love it.
I can't wait for next months issue.
